Your Wedding @ CPC

Beginnings

This is an exciting time in your lives. We at Central Peninsula Church look forward to assisting you with your wedding. We want to make your wedding day as worry-free as possible and we will be happy to assist you with details concerning our facilities.

The first step towards your walking down the aisle begins here...

Wedding Day and Rehearsal

Weddings are performed on Saturday afternoon or evening and rehearsal on Friday afternoon. The Wedding Coordinator and/or pastor will conduct the rehearsal.

Dressing Rooms

The bride and her attendants may use the Library for changing and photography. The groom and his party will have access to another room. The rooms will be available one and a half hours prior to the wedding.

Seating

CPC’s auditorium accommodates approximately 600 people comfortably. The multipurpose room can accomodate 300 people (ceremony only). The auditorium is usually set up in three sections with a section in the center. The chairs may be rearranged to create a center aisle if you prefer—most couples do!

Candles

Although candelabras and kneeling benches are not yet a part of the CPC supplies, we can provide you with a list of rental companies in the area. If you will be having candles as a part of your ceremony, please note that only dripless candles are permitted.

Flowers

All decorations must be approved by the Wedding Coordinator or Facilities Director. Flowers may be left in the auditorium following the wedding. (Please make arrangements with Wedding Coordinator).

Aisle Runner

The church does not have an aisle runner, but we can provide you with a list of rental companies in the area.

Pianist

CPC has a grand piano on the stage. Your pianist may use the piano or provide an electric keyboard. The grand piano will remain on the stage either way.

Limo Parking

The area in front of the church on Shell Boulevard is a red zone. We would suggest that your driver park in the church parking lot (not on the courtyard please).

Videotaping/Photography

Videotaping and photography is permitted in the auditorium. The Wedding Coordinator will assist your photographer and videographer with the location(s) where the equipment can be set up.

Alcohol

Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the premises. The bride and groom are responsible to inform the wedding party of this policy.

Sound/Lighting

Our auditorium has a state of the art stage lighting and sound system. We also have two large screens which can be used for powerpoint or video. A sound technician will be provided for your ceremony. You may play prerecorded music. Microphones are available for soloists and other live music. Your choice of music should be appropriate for the occasion and reviewed by the Wedding Coordinator.

Pastor

You should arrange with your officiating pastor whether or not he will be needed to attend the rehearsal. Also an honorarium should be given directly to the pastor on the day of the wedding. A suggested honorarium is between $300–500.

Reservations

Please email roomrental@cpcfc.org for availability.
