Our Vision

The Biblical Counseling ministry provides immediate biblical guidance, insight and encouragement to individuals during times of crisis, change or personal difficulties. This is accomplished by training lay counselors to extend the ministry of pastoral care to the church body and beyond. This ministry assures that when individuals turn to us for counsel they will see the love of Christ through each step of the process, providing not only short term help but an opportunity to connect with long term discipleship resources within the larger church community.

To advance the priority of learning God’s Word and building healthy relationships by facilitating the emotional, mental well-being and spiritual growth of individuals in the CPC family.

Biblical Counseling Training – This 10-week course trains lay counselors to bring lasting, Christ-centered help to hurting people. Next scheduled class will start September 10, 2012.
