Care Ministries: Mercy Ministries

“ Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brother of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’” Matthew 25:37-40

Our Vision

The Mercy ministry mobilizes God’s resources to care for His people. This area is responsible to proactively reach out to meet the needs of the church body and the communities on the Peninsula. This is accomplished by developing ministry teams designed to target specific needs. Examples of these teams include hospital and home visitation, convalescent home outreach, bereavement support, prayer chain, and transportation ministries along with a host of yet to be designated internal and community outreach ministries. Another way the Mercy ministry reaches its stated mission is through creating mutually beneficial partnerships with other community agencies and church fellowships.

Our Mission

Through prayer and with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, Mercy Ministries address the needs of church family and the extended community in times of difficulty.

In-House Ministries – Targeting specific needs within the church body.

Outreach Ministries – Proactively reaching out to address needs in the Bay Area communities.
