2010 Central Peninsula Church Men’s Retreat

The Retreat will take place February 19-21, 2010 at Mt. Hermon. The registration period runs from January 10-31. Submit your completed registration form with payment at the Men’s Retreat booth after each Sunday Worship Service or after Men’s Fraternity on Thursday mornings during the registration period.

 

Speaker Tullian Tchividjian

Tullian Tchividjian (pronounced cha-vi-jin) is the grandson of Billy and Ruth Graham and Senior Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is the author of Unfashionable: Making a Difference in the World by Being Different and Do I Know God: Finding Certainty in Life’s Most Important Relationship. When he is not reading, studying, preaching, or writing, he enjoys being with people, exercising and surfing. He and his wife Kim have three children.

 

The Weekend

  • Onsite registration runs from 5:30–7pm on Friday. After 7pm, registration will be in the Dining Hall.
  • We’ll begin with dinner at 7pm; the first session begins at 8pm.
  • The retreat concludes on Sunday at 12:30pm. Sunday lunch will be provided afterwards.

 

Lodging & Retreat Expense

We don’t want the cost of the Retreat to prevent anyone from attending. Therefore, we only ask for a $25 per person non-refundable deposit with your registration form. Then, rather than requiring the full cost to be paid prior to the Retreat; we will take an offering at our Saturday morning session to cover our expenses. This allows those who might not attend because of finances to pay what they are able to afford.

CPC Men’s Retreat Golf Tournament

The tournament will be played at Seascape Golf Club and starts at 10am on Friday, February 19. There is a $30 non-refundable deposit due at registration which will be applied to the total fee of $70 to play, cart included. Balance is due on the day of the tournament (payable to CPC or cash).
