Children's Ministry is looking for a few mature people to work with kids who have special attention needs. This is a ministry to support the child and the parent. Training is provided. Call Kim Fenech.
Nursery
CPC's Nursery is for infants and toddlers, which includes newborns through 27 months. The nursery operates as a parent's co-operative. During Sunday morning worship, infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for by parents and other volunteers from within our body. Parents and volunteers are scheduled to serve at most three times in a given quarter. Childcare is also available for infants and toddlers during the Women's Bible Study and most special events, free of charge. Some groups, however, may request a nominal fee. Christian workers are recruited occasionally from outside our church body, and there are a small number of paid positions for special events.
Seasonal Events
In addition to Sunday School, older children are invited to participate in a variety of activities offered at different times of the year. These activities include the Harvest Festival, Kids Choir, Christmas Crafts 'n Caroles, Vacation Bible School and other new programs which will be introduced this year. Come and be blessed by serving in the Children's Ministry.
Sunday School
CPC's Sunday School program ministers to children ages 28 months through 4th grade. Children are lovingly taught God's word and its application in their everyday lives. Sunday School provides an excellent opportunity for adults and adolescents to develop and use their gifts, and grow as they minister to children. Training is provided to teachers in both personal Bible study methods and teaching skills. It is our goal that teachers and assistants grow deeper in their love for the Lord as they serve Him by helping children grow.
