Joseph and Michelle Butlig
 Michelle and I have been on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for the past 8 years, specifically serving college students within the greater Los Angeles area. We are part of what is called The Los Angeles Metro Team, reaching out to those colleges where there is no current Christian outreach or ministry available on the campus. We currently perform outreach and ministry work at Cal State Northridge, Cal State Los Angeles, Moorpark Community College, Pasadena City College, Cal Arts, Glendale Community College, and College of the Canyons.
Our desire is to initiate and support Christian ministry on college campuses through Bible Studies, where believers can be encouraged in their walk with the Lord and where they can invite their non-Christian friends to learn more about God.
We initiate outreaches to share the gospel. We also provide training for students through one-on-one discipleship, retreats and conferences. During the summer we take students on summer mission trips to give them a heart for the world.
We also believe in partnering with churches located in the campus communities, and helping them to reach out to college students. Having members of a local church body go to the college campuses has been a wonderful stepping-stone for non-Christians to learn of God and then through those relationships built on campus the students feel more comfortable stepping inside church walls.
We have 3 children: Luke, Daniel and Jessica. Luke is 6 years old now, and is growing so fast! He loves to read, play store, ride his bike, play with legos, play all sports, and play with his neighborhood friends. Daniel is 4 now and is so active! He is our crazy climbing boy and afraid of nothing! Daniel loves fixing things, play-do, riding his bike and imagination games. And Jessica is now almost 2 years old and chasing her brothers everywhere! She is learning so many words and her favorite is "Mine and No!"
