My name is Ed (Eddie G )Glinden

I was born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula.

I've been blessed with 20 years of clean time from a ruthless disease. I asked Jesus into my heart around 16 years ago in a park next to the Alano club in San Jose. A friend led me in that most important prayer of my life and in recovery. To this day we are still very close friends. My relationship with JC was a process of trial and error. The Twelve Steps helped me realize the main purpose in the Twelve Step journey and in life was to reconcile with Him. My search for significance was now more clear as a result. The steps introduced me to a plain fact, that a belief in a Higher Power was the key to spiritual success.  

My greatest joy besides Him, is my greatest gift from Him, my daughter Justine who is 8 years old. An absolute joy!  

I have a passion for the arts, music, theater and film. I have written about 6 plays, mostly dealing with family, recovery and spiritual issues.

As a member of Higher Power's leadership team, I look forward to infusing creative arts into some of our events.

One of my favorite verses in the word?  Romans 7:14-25.  As well as Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, which is good, acceptable and perfect”.
